SGS Pool Specialist is a pool building, renovation and repair business based in Alberton, Gauteng. Engage X Digital designed and built their website from the ground up, then went back in to fix what launch day usually misses.
THE BRIEF
SGS Pool Specialist needed a professional website that could represent a hands-on trade business online and make it simple for a homeowner to get in touch about a new pool, a renovation, or a repair.
WHAT WE BUILT
A full WordPress/Elementor website with a working enquiry form, built around the services SGS actually offers: new pool builds, marbelite renovation, fibreglass lining, leak detection and fault finding, solar heating and heat pumps, general pool repair, and custom koi ponds.
TECHNICAL REVIEW AFTER LAUNCH
Shortly after launch we ran a full technical pass on the live site and found three issues quietly working against the business: a leftover placeholder sitting above the live contact form, a footer review link pointing to the wrong destination, and a primary call-to-action built around email instead of the client's actual preferred contact channel. All three were corrected the same day.
LOCAL SEO FOUNDATIONS
As part of ongoing SEO work, we reviewed how the website and the business's Google Business Profile represent its name, address and phone number, and are working through the local listing details that affect how the business is found in Gauteng search results.

Where this stands today
This is an active, ongoing engagement. Proper analytics is being put in place so future performance can be measured and reported on honestly. We'd rather show real, current work in progress than publish numbers we can't stand behind.
