A marketing report should help you decide what to do next. A collection of channel numbers becomes useful only when it connects to the questions your business is asking.
Separate activity from outcomes
Publishing, impressions and clicks describe parts of the work. Enquiries, lead quality and the steps towards a sale provide another view. Keep the distinctions visible so a busy channel is not automatically treated as a successful one.
Explain what the data can tell you
Tracking has gaps. Customers may use multiple devices, call directly or hear about the business offline. Record known limitations and avoid presenting attribution as complete certainty.
Add context to change
A number without context can mislead. Note changes to spend, offers, seasonality and tracking before drawing a conclusion. Compare like with like wherever possible.
End with a decision
For each useful finding, state the proposed action, who owns it and when you will review it. A shorter report with a clear next step can support a better conversation than a long dashboard without interpretation.
